Shri Radhe Maa – Leela-Amrut – Arrest and release in Hong Kong

Shri Radhe Maa – Vachan Amrut
Officer inexplicably releases devotee arrested for driving with Indian license
By Sanjeev Gupta

Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa was in Hong Kong granting darshan to devotees, and I was part of her entourage. I was arrested by an upright police officer of Chinese origin for driving on their roads without a Hong Kong license. The officer was very tired from long hours of work.  He spoke very little English and was and had not slept for 48 hours. I had broken the law and the officer wanted to ensure that I learnt my lesson.

I apologised profusely and offered to pay up the fine. But the officer said he would have to arrest me. The law would take its course. I could say what I wished to when he produced before a magistrate the next day. It was 6 pm. I did not want to spend the night behind bars in a strange country but there was nothing I could do. I was escorted to an underground cellar where I was put behind bars. I was worried. The police seized my money, passport and other papers.

When Devi Maa heard the news of my arrest, she insisted on accompanying my family to the police station. Members of my family tried to reason with Devi Maa. The police station was no place for her.  Devi Maa remained unmoved. “My devotee is in trouble. We are bound together, good times or bad. I have to be there for him.”

At the police station, my family spoke to a subordinate of the officer who had arrested me. The man advised the group against talking to the officer. I had no clue about what was happening. I kept praying.  I knew Devi Maa would ensure I was released. I did not however know when that would happen.

Then at around 2.30 am, I saw the officer who had arrested me at the door of the cell. “Here, sign this bond and leave. I don’t know why I am letting you go but I want to sleep now. When I close my eyes, I keep thinking about you. Leave!” he said.

I obeyed him and left quickly because I did not want him to change his mind. Over eight hours had passed since my arrest. I thanked Devi Maa as I climbed the steps of the cellar. My faith in Devi Maa had borne fruit. My prayers had been answered by her unfailing grace. As I walked out free, I saw relief on the faces of my family members. I appeared before the magistrate the next day and apologized for breaking the law. I was made to pay a fine and let off.

Shri Radhe Maa Leela Amrut – Gift of sight

Shri Radhe Maa – Leela Amrut – Gift of sight

Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa’s grace restores sight lost during pregnancy

By Sanjeev Gupta

Rajeev Gupta’s story: It is a tradition in our community for a married daughter of the house to deliver in her paternal home. It was no different when my sister Monika Mour was expecting. She was entrusted to our care by her marital family in keeping with custom. All was well for the first six months. Then, in her seventh month, she vomited rather violently and discovered later that she could not see at all with her right eye. We took her to anophthalmologist friend. The good doctor, a devotee of Devi Maa, said that if it had not been for Devi Maa’s grace, she could have lost sight in both her eyes. Hercorneawas damaged due to a blood clot. An eye hemorrhage is how he described it. Because Monika was well into her pregnancy, the doctor said he could not give her any medication. He told us that he could not so post delivery either because she would be breastfeeding.

Shri Radhe Maa

We were worried for my sister and also felt answerable to her husband and other members of her family. After all, she had been fine when she left her house. We prayed to Devi Maa who told us to stop worrying. She asked us to expect a miracle within two months of the delivery and Monika would be able to see clearly. Once those words were uttered, we had no reason to be concerned any more. It was not different with Monika. She surrendered completely to Devi Maa. She knew she would do just fine.

My sister delivered. Mother and child were both fine. Again, in keeping with tradition, she remained with us for around five weeks following the delivery. One morning, about a month-and-a-half after the delivery, my sister woke up with her eyesight completely restored.

The doctor agreed with us that it was a miracle. We know it was so, because we had been long enough in Devi Maa’s seva to know that nothing is impossible for her. Unquestioning faith and patience and a feeling of gratitude is all it takes.

Shri Radhe Maa leela amrut – Divine anger management

Shri Radhe Maa – Shobha Yatra
How Devi Maa’s grace averted a life-threatening situation
By Sanjeev Gupta
Rajeev Gupta’s story: I own a construction business in Mumbai. We own a plot in Kandivli, which is located in the western suburbs of the city. As land is at a premium in India’s commercial capital, the danger of encroachment is ever-present. Last year, I received a call that told me that some miscreants had begun erecting illegal structures on the plot. I rushed to the spot with a friend without informing anyone in the family. I thought I would with Devi Maa’s blessings resolve the issue on my own.
When I reached the site, I found a crowd of over 150 people busily erecting shelters on the land. I walked up to them and asked them what they were up to. Some people in the crowd got abusive and began threatening me. I sensed that the situation could turn ugly at any point. I tried to reason with them but my arguments made them angrier by the minute. My poor friend was so terrified that he fled leaving me alone to fend for myself.

Shri Radhe Maa

While I was mulling over the situation, my brother Sanjeev was offering charan seva (pressing Devi Maa’s feet) to Devi Maa. She asked him where I was. He told her that I must be ‘around’. She insisted that Sanjeev call me. When I received his call, I simply asked him to call me later. I did not want him to worry. However, before I could keep the phone Devi Maa gestured to him. She wanted to speak to me. I heard her voice over the phone.

“Do not switch off the phone. Just keep it in your pocket,” she said.
I followed her instructions.Strangely, the angry crowd began dispersing. A few seconds later, the few people that remained began dismantling the structures. I could see that they were as angry as they had been earlier but they were no longer confronting me. I looked in wonder as in a matter of minutes the encroachers vacated the plot.

I can’t explain what exactly happened that day but I do know that Devi Maa had intervened as she always does when devotees are in trouble and warded off a potentially dangerous situation.

Shri Radhe Maa – Outer appearance and inner worth

Shri Radhe Maa – Shobha Yatra
Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa’s outer form is the result of the loving
shringar offered to her by devotees as a mark of their bhakti

By Sanjeev Gupta

Some seekers, skeptics and curious bystanders who see Devi Maa’s Swaroop in public for the first time raise doubts about her divinity. This is particularly true of people who have not had Devi Maa’s Darshan or attended her Chowkis. Some comment on her beauty, others remark on her choice of ornaments, dress and makeup. Devotees except when they are greatly provoked rarely respond to such remarks because they are too busy expressing their gratitude to Devi Maa.
Some such remarks tend to find their way to social media pages maintained by me as part of my seva.
With the news of Devi Maa’s Shobha Yatra on 31st March in Punjab becoming public, the same old questions are being asked again. One question in particular keeps popping up at regular intervals: How can someone so richly ornamented be holy? After all, such doubters argue, holiness is inclined to simplicity. Wearing saffron is holy, ash-smeared bodies are holy, so are flowing robes. Holy people give discourses. Devi Maa does not appear to subscribe to any of their prejudices and this tends to get them all worked up.
Shri Radhe Maa
While Devi Maa herself honors’ several men and women who wear saffron, smear ash and give discourses, she is herself attired resplendently when she grants darshan. She teaches us to be respectful of all who have offered their lives for God. The least among them, Devi Maa says, is better than us. However, she herself speaks little and blesses through her all-seeing eyes or Drishti.

As for the shringar, it is my sister, wife, mother and other women in my family who offer shringar on most days to Devi Maa. They believe that the act of offering shringar to Devi Maa protects their husbands and families. My sister says that it is strange that people who love to dress, wear ornaments and look beautiful should force their ideas of holiness on Devi Maa. Why, she asks, should Devi Maa, our Ishta, be treated to any less.

We do not like to see Devi Maa in her Sati aspect but as all-giving Annapurna whose mere glance grants all desires. We are blessed to have such a wonderful mother and we like to express it too. It is her deep love for us that ensures that we do not stray from the path of virtue, prosperity and happiness. As devotees, we in turn, express our love and devotion to Devi Maa by offering shringar. This is a spiritual transaction that brings sweet bliss to the devotee.
Only devotees understand this because they are the ones that know how Devi Maa’s grace and the tremendous positivity that surrounds her help them at all times.
I would request all who have questions, queries and doubts to come for Devi Maa’s Darshan because there is no praman (proof) like pratyaksh (manifest) praman. Please give us an opportunity to serve you.
Jai Mata Di.

Shri Radhe Maa – Mother to all

Shri Radhe Maa – Vachan Amrut

By Sanjeev Gupta

In rendering service to you if I have made any errors, forgive me Mother because one hears of bad sons but never of a bad mother.
Shri Adi Shankaracharya
Shri Radhe Maa
As we busy ourselves with the duties assigned to us for Devi Maa’s Shobha Yatra in Jalandhar on 31st March, we look forward to the big day with joy in our hearts. With the number of devotees increasing over the years, one hopes that one’s seva manages to smoothen their way when they come for Devi Maa’s darshan.
Devi Maa laughs when I express my concerns to her. “Why,” she argues, “should devotees interrupt their seva? You do your job. I am a mother and everyone is a son or daughter to me. I am the sun that shines on the dog, the beggar and the king with the same intensity. I do not discriminate.”
Devi Maa is looking forward to the visit to Jalandhar. She sees it as an opportunity to serve the presiding deities of Devi Talab Mandir – Maa Kali and Lord Shiva. The two are honoured as Shri Tripuramalini and Lord Bhishan Bhairav in the temple, which is a celebrated Shakti Peeth.

Glory of Devi Talab Mandir

Shr Radhe Maa – Shobha Yatra
The venue of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa’s Shobha Yatra on 31st March is one of the 51 ancient Shakti Peethas dedicated to the worship of Maa Jagdamba
 by Sanjeev Gupta
Shri Radhe Maa – Shobha Yatra
Devotees of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa across the world are looking forward to a big event in the days ahead  – 31st March 2012. This is when Devi Maa’s devotees in Punjab attend a grand Shobha Yatra (Glory Procession) at the Shakti Peetha Devi Talab Mandir in Jalandar, India.
The temple, which is located a kilometer from Jalandar railway station, is in the heart of the city. The presiding deity of the Devi Talab Mandir temple is Maa Kali in her aspect as Tripuramalini who rules the city with her consort Lord Shiva who is present as Bhishan Bhairav.
The puranas state that Maa Sati immolated herself after her father Daksha insulted her husband Lord Shiva.  This enraged Lord Shiva who opened his terrifying third eye and danced a fierce tandava across the earth with the body of his beloved Sati in his arms.
The gods afraid that the Lord’s anger would destroy the universe sought the assistance of Lord Vishnu who dispatched his all-powerful discus – Sudarshan Chakra – to cut Sati’s body into pieces.  Every spot that received a portion of Maa Sati’s body became in the ages that followed a place of worship for devotees of the Goddess. Each of these spots is honoured as a Shakti Peetha by devotees of the Goddess who are also referred to as Shaktas. The Devi Talab Mandir has the distinction of being one of the 51 prominent Shakti Peethas on the subcontinent. The temple marks the spot that was blessed with Maa Sati’s right breast.

The venue of the Shobha Yatra is special for Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa who recommends the worship of Lord Shiva and Maa Jagadambika as the supreme antidote for all ills worldly as well as spiritual, and is herself a committed devotee of Devi and Lord Shiva. The Shobha Yatra is also special for sevadars of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa who are also devotees of Maa Parashakti and Lord Shiva enshrined in the Devi Talab Mandir as Shri Tripuramalini and Bhishan Bhairav.
Shrii Radhe Maa- Shobha Yatra
Please be present at the Shobha Yatra procession and benefit from the boundless mercy of Maa Uma who never fails those who serve her with love and devotion. Jai Mata Di.

Shri Radhe Maa – Leela-Amrut- Best gift ever !

Arjun Sachdeva ‘s story – How my wife concieved after 11 years of marriage

Shri Radhe Maa

I ran a successful bicycle business in Ludhiana, Punjab. I possessesed almost everything a man would wish for. I had a loving family, good health, a flourishing business, and a comfortable bank balance. The only thing that was missing in the happy picture was a child. Eleven years had passed since my marriage but my wife had been unable to concieve. We tried doctors, we did rounds of various temples and dargahs. Nothing worked. I did not worry too much about not having a child for the first few years of marriage. However, with the passage of time, relatives began to talk, and it was painful. My 92-year-old grandmother said she wanted to play with her great grandson before God called her.

The pressure began to get to me. I wanted to be a father too. We renewed our visits to doctors, vaidyas and hakims. When nothing worked we started visiting temples, mosques and churches that had a reputation for solving the problems of people in our situation. I began to wonder if God had decided to ignore our prayers, and I got fed up of looking for a way out.

Shri Radhe Maa

It was when I almost gave up in frustration that Devi Maa ‘called’ me into her sangat. Someone suggested that I attend Devi Maa’s jagran. To begin with, I was in no mood for any more visits. However, my wife reasoned that there was no harm in doing so.We had been to so many places and had prayed at every door. What, she asked, was the harm in attending the jagran. I saw merit in her words and agreed.

At the jagran, I was as touched by Devi Maa’s swaroop as I was by the devotion of the sangat. Many devotees had experienced miracles in their lives. Hope rose in my heart when I heard their stories. I also experienced a profound peace. I decided to attend more chowkies in the days ahead. At the chowkies, I felt the joyful energy that surrounds Devi Maa at all times. I understood what devotees mean when they say Devi Maa has the power to change lives through her drishti. I felt the power in her eyes working in my life.

A few months later my wife concieved.Every member of our family rejoiced when we shared the news with them. A few months later, a son was born to us. This is but one miracle of many that Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa has worked in my life.
Blessed indeed are we to have such a loving mother.

Jai Mata Di! Jai Shri Radhe Maa!

Shri Radhe Maa – Leela Amrut – Miracle on Day 41

Shri Radhe Maa
I will never abandon you  – Shri Radhe Maa – Vachan Amrut

By Sanjeev Gupta

Shri Radhe Maa
Vishal Sareen’s (Mintu) story: Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa ordered me to visit Gurudwara Sahib for 41 consecutive days. I did not know why Devi Maa should order me to do so out of the blue but I would not dare to disobey her orders. I knew there had to be a reason. It was just that I did not know it yet. Religiously, for 41 days, I visited the local Gurudwara Sahib in Sydney.
On the 41st day, after I was done paying my respects at the Gurudwara Sahib, I got into my car and began my drive home.  After driving some distance, I decided to change lanes so I could driver faster. As I attempted to turn left, the car that was moving ahead of me, braked to a halt. I had braked and my car had stopped but not before the two cars collided at a speed of over 100 KMPH. I closed my eyes and prayed to Devi Maa in the fraction of the second when I realised that I was about to die.
Then, I opened my eyes.
Both the cars had stopped.

We got out of our cars to examine the damage. I had no injuries beyond a few scratches. Surprisingly, even the driver in the other car was not hurt. A couple of dents were all our cars had suffered.

I realised that I had witnessed a miracle. The advice to pray at the Gurudwara Sahib for 41 days made sense now. Devi Maa had warded off an inevitable disaster and saved my life.

The incident reinforced what I had always believed – Devi Maa is all-knowing. She not only knows the fate that awaits her devotees, she also shows them the way to face hard times with a prayer on their lips.

It was also striking that when Devi Maa saw troubles looming large over me, she did not ask me to offer her worship but directed me to the Gurudwara Sahib, and asked me to pray to God. When I thanked her for the miracle she smiled and said that it was God who accomplished everything, and therefore it was God whom I should thank.

Shri Radhe maa – LeelaAmrut – A bank guarantee gone wrong

How Devi Maa helped her devotee who was betrayed by a trusted friend
By Purshottam Kohli

I grew up in a spiritual environment, which made me a God-fearing man. My wife and children are also spiritually inclined. Eleven years ago, in 2001, our neighbor, who had also become a good family friend over the years, took a big loan. When he said that the bank required a guarantor, we agreed to help, and my son became guarantor for the loan. He had not given us any reason to suspect his character. However, a few days after he took the loan, our neighbor fled the city. A few months later, the bank’s officers approached us and asked our son to clear our neighbor’s dues. We realized that we had been betrayed. We asked the bank’s officers why they would not confiscate his house and clear the amount due. The officers informed us that real estate rates had fallen and there was no way they could recover their outstanding by selling the flat. We were the guarantors. We had to pay up.
We panicked.
We had extended a helping hand to a friend and what a heavy price we were being made to pay for it. We moved the court for relief. The case dragged on for six-years without any result. The bank kept revising the outstanding by adding the burden of interest to the principal outstanding. The frequent trips to the court along taxed us heavily. It left us tired, and drained and also burnt a hole in our pockets.
The turn of events left the entire family stressed. I prayed to God and was beginning to despair because there appeared to be no end in sight. The amount in question was too large for us to pay. We feared not just monetary loss but the loss of face.
Around that time, I came in Devi Maa’s sharan. She was our last hope. We prayed to her to relieve us of our burden.
Mr. Purshottam Kohli (Pic. courtesy – Author)
There was a chowki at Radhe Maa Bhavan on the night of 22nd November that year. I went for Devi Maa’s darshan with the burden of my woes on my heart. Sometime in the evening, the dam of my patience collapsed. I wept bitterly. I began to pray to Devi Maa in my mind. I petitioned her for help as I walked into her gufaa. She was watching me. As I prayed, she glanced at me with her caring and motherly eyes.  She conveyed through her gestures that I should leave everything to her. She would do what was required. I should not worry, her eyes told me. I felt a flood of relief wash over me. I was convinced that she would find a way out.
Two days later, a bank official came to visit us. He simply handed me all our confiscated documents and papers and apologised for the trouble his company had caused us. He told me that the bank had managed to get a fair value for the mortgaged flat, and had decided to forfeit the loan amount. I did not owe the bank a single paisa.
I realised the power of faith in Devi Maa and thanked her for her grace. Nothing is impossible for the devotee who believes in Mamtamai Shri Radhe Maa. Everything changes once one believes.
I owe my life to Devi Maa.
