Namacharya Haridasa Thakura, a great teacher in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, was born in a Mulsim Pathan family in the 16th Century but his heart turned to Lord Krishna when he beheld the golden form of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Krishna as well as Shrimati Radhe Rani.

The ruler of the land Ramchandra Khan who was unhappy with Haridasa Thakura’s preaching of of the holy name sent a courtesan to seduce the saint.
